Investigators say a man struck and killed by a train in Garland may have never heard the train coming.
Garland police on Wednesday identified the victim as 57-year-old Clarence Hodge of Garland.
Detectives believe Hodge may have been wearing headphones on Tuesday night and did not hear the northbound train approach as he tried to cross the tracks.
Hodge was killed at the scene.
