GameStop Robber Tracked Down, Tased

Irving police put a quick end to a robbery Saturday night, chasing down a masked man who robbed three employees of a video game store.

According to police, employees of the GameStop store on the 2600 block of Beltline Road were leaving the store when a  man wearing a ski mask pointed a gun at them and demanded their wallets.

The man took the wallets and fled the scene.  The victim's notified the police who quickly spotted a person matching their description of the employee's robber.

Officers chased the man on foot and were forced to restrain him with a stun gun after police said he appared to be ready to hit one of the officers.

Police suspect the robber may have been after the night deposit money from the store but settled for the victims' wallets instead.
