Frisco Soccer Coach Arrested on 5th Sexual Abuse Charge

Volunteer coach being held on $1 million bond

A Frisco volunteer soccer coach is back behind bars this week after a fifth charge of sexual assault of a child was filed against him.

Kevin Hilty, 42, was arrested Saturday on a fifth charge of continuous sexual assault of a child.

Hilty was first arrested by Frisco police in late June on four separate counts of continuous sexual assault of a child younger than 14 years old.

According to police documents, four boys who met Hilty through his volunteer coaching position said he would bully and taunt them into taking off their clothes.

The boys told their parents that Hilty would inappropriately touch them and force them to touch each other. Many of the other allegations are too graphic for television.

After nearly two days in jail, Hilty posted a $100,000 bond.

By the following Monday, he was in an hours-long standoff with Dallas police as he threatened to jump off the High Five interchange.

Hilty is being held in Denton County on $1 million bail.
