4 Killed in 3 Separate Sunday Crashes

Four people died in three separate North Texas crashes Sunday.

In Lewisville, an SUV packed with six people inside rolled over on Interstate 35E near Garden Ridge at about 7:15 a.m. Two of the people in the SUV were killed in the crash. The conditions of the other four people in the vehicle are not known.  The northbound lanes of I-35E was closed and traffic diverted at Garden Ridge while the scene was cleared.

Earlier in the morning, the driver of an SUV struck another car and lost control along the Dallas North Tollway near Trinity Mills.  The driver launched the SUV about 15-feet off the overpass and landed along Dallas Parkway, which runs parallel to the tollway, before crashing into a utility pole and a tree.  The passenger in the vehicle died while the driver was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

In Arlington, a man in his 30s, driving a Ford F-250 eastbound along Interstate 30, crashed through a guard rail and rolled into a ditch after losing control of his truck at about 2:30 a.m. The crash threw the man from the vehicle, killing him.   No one was with the man when he crashed.  The crash is under investigation.

The names of those killed in the crashes have not yet been released.
