Fort Worth is the 6th Friendliest City: Condé Nast Traveler

Fort Worth is the sixth friendliest city in the United States according Condé Nast Traveler.

The magazine's Readers' Choice Survey rated cities on their friendliness especially with respect to where readers felt "welcome."

Southern hospitality helped several cities make the top of the list. Fort Worth ranked sixth on the list and was praised for "beautiful manners."

Of course readers pointed out the western culture of Cowtown's Stockyards National Historic District, but they also paid attention to the city's cultural side.

San Antonio also made the friendliest list, coming in at No. 3.
