Toddler's Death Investigated by Fort Worth Police

The death of a 2-year-old Fort Worth boy is being investigated by police after he was hospitalized on his birthday.

The boy, identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner as Adrian Langlais, died Thursday, one day after he was found unresponsive and transported to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth.

Police began an investigation into the boy's condition after being notified of his arrival at the hospital Wednesday.

Langlais died at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the medical examiner said. His cause of death has not yet been determined.

The Fort Worth Police Department's Crimes Against Children Unit is investigating the boy's death.

No further information has been released.
