A Fort Worth police officer is on restricted duty status following his arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Sunday evening, the department announced.
Stephen Toothman was operating a vehicle involved in a DWI call at about 9 p.m. near the intersection of North Main Street and Northeast 28th Street, police said.
Toothman, who was commissioned as an officer in May 2004 and previously assigned to the North patrol division, was placed on restricted duty and surrendered his service weapon and badge.
Additional details on the investigation were not released.
