Fort Worth police are investigating a deadly shooting at the Sandy Oaks apartment complex early Tuesday morning.
Officers said a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in his apartment; his 31-year-old female roommate was taken into custody.
According to police, the couple started fighting around midnight. Police said there were several arguments in different apartments.
Investigators said at the end of the argument the woman shot the man at about 1 a.m.
Officers said they found the gun believed to be used in the shooting across the street under some bushes. Police didn't reveal how they knew where to look for the weapon.
Police also said they have at least two witnesses in for questioning.
