Fort Worth ISD is Looking for Teachers

The Fort Worth Independent School District is looking for new teachers for the 2015-2016 school year.

In a news release, the district said they're looking for "talented, compassionate and dedicated" candidates in high-need areas like special education, science and math. In addition, bilingual teachers are also highly sought after.

Those with the aforementioned skills are strongly encouraged to apply early to secure contracts for the 2015-2016 school year. The early application deadline for next year is Monday, Feb. 16, 2015.

The district did not say how many positions they had to fill.

"Teaching in Fort Worth is more than a career. It's a calling. Answer the call today by visiting the Fort Worth ISD website and join an exceptional team of teachers shaping the leaders of tomorrow," the district said in a news release.
