The Fort Worth City Council has approved its 2012 budget.
The $1.4 billion budget includes a raise for most employees and has added 98 new positions to the city payroll.
Property taxes will stay the same and all non-civil service employees will receive raises.
The budget also gives pay raises to police and firefighters in the city.
