A former Central Texas elementary school janitor has been sentenced to eight years in prison for molesting three female students.

Juan Ledezma, 60, pleaded guilty this week to three counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. He faces up to 20 years in prison on each count.

Teachers at Neal Elementary in Bryan notified authorities in 2013 after several girls reported the abuse. An 11-year-old girl and two 12-year-old girls reported Ledezma molested them in the spring of 2013 while at school. The girls said Ledezma touched them inappropriately while giving them hugs.

Ledezma retired from the school in May 2013 after the investigation began.
