It’s not a scene we see often – all five living former U.S. Presidents putting politics aside to come together for one cause. In College Station, they used their presidential power to help the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
The group hadn’t been together since the opening of the George W. Bush Presidential Library in 2013. Saturday night, they attended a concert fundraiser, called One America Appeal. The ex-Presidents launched the campaign in September. To date, 80,000 donors have raised $31 million dollars for hurricane relief in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Country performers Lee Greenwood, Alabama, Lyell Lovett and The Gatlin Brothers were among the stars.
"Texas, the rest of the country. We are strong,” said Greenwood. “And to all those who have been devastated by the natural disasters we say, we've got your back. We are here, and we won't let you down."
Pop icon Lady Gaga stole the show with a surprise appearance, and a message.
"The storm has caused a lot of trauma to millions who have lived here,” she said. “And through it they will continue to struggle, and rebuild their lives."
Though not in attendance, President Donald Trump recorded a video message, which was played during the concert.

“In the aftermath of these terrible storms, The American people have done what we do best,” said Mr. Trump. “We came together, we helped one another, and through it all we remained resilient.”
Funds collected through concert ticket sales will be sent to relief agencies in the areas impacted by the storms.
