Former First Lady Laura Bush will be the guest teacher for students at Nancy Cochran Elementary School in Dallas on Tuesday.
Mrs. Bush, a former librarian and teacher, is taking part in Teach for America Week in which civic and business leaders head back to the classroom to inspire students with lessons that connect the curriculum to real life.
Mrs. Bush focused much of her attention on education, early child development and literacy while in the White House.
