Forest Hill city employees will have to take 10 days off to help save the city money.
City officials tell the Star-Telegram those furlough days will help the city close a $700,000 budget gap.
Most of those furlough days will fall around holidays when Forest Hill's city hall is closed.
The furloughs will include police and fire department employees along with the city manager.
The city will hold a public hearing to discuss the 2011-12 budget on September 13.
