Flames Seen For Miles After Natural Gas Compressor Fire

A series of explosion kept people up early Sunday morning in Johnson County.

A fire broke out at a natural gas compressor station around midnight near Godley about two miles west of Cleburne.

Pictures sent in to iSee@nbcdfw.com from Keith Scarbrough of the Bono Fire Department show the masssive flame.

Residents report seeing flames from several miles away.

One employee was working at the time of the fire, but there were no reports of injuries.

The compressor station is owned by Crosstex Energy. There's still no word what caused the fire.
