Fisherman's Body Recovered in Dallas

The body of Baron Dangerfield, who went missing while fishing Saturday, has been recovered.

Dangerfield, 38, went missing while fishing Saturday after heavy rain fell on North Texas.

Dangerfield's family said they found a body on a sandbar of White Rock Creek and called officials. It was later determined that the body found was Dangerfield.

On Saturday, Curtis Williams said he and some friends gathered to go fishing at a creek near Interstate 30 and Samuell Boulevard in East Dallas. That is where they met up with Dangerfield.

Williams said Dangerfield took a step into the water and was rushed away by the roaring current.

Williams said they saw Dangerfield's coat pop up, and then the man himself, but they lost him after he was swept under a nearby bridge.

Rescuers searched for Dangerfield throughout the weekend, but due to the current couldn't put divers into the water.
