Fire in the attic of an Irving apartment complex forced residents out into the cold early Monday morning.
The blaze at the La Hacienda Apartments in the 500 Block of North O'Conner damaged 19 units forcing 81 people to find new housing.
There were no injuries.
Some residents had to get out so quickly, they were wearing only pajamas and socks.
The Red Cross is helping families with clothing, food and shelter.
