Investigators believe a fire started in a heating system, consuming the Youth Building of a Crowley church on Sunday morning.
A city spokesperson said the fire began around 8:00 a.m. in the attic of the building at the First Baptist Church at 400 Eagle Drive. The fire quickly consumed the building.
No one was injured in the blaze.
Crowley Fire Department Chief Pleasant Brooks said the fire started in the heating system. The exact cause is under investigation.
Firefighters from neighboring Burleson, Everman, Forest Hill and Kennedale fire departments helped extinguish the fire.
