‘Felony Lane Gang' Indictments Include North Texans

Two North Texans are part of a group of 16 men and women facing federal charges accused of being part of the so-called "Felony Lane Gang."

The group is suspected of breaking into vehicles and stealing purses, wallets, bank checks, bank cards, drivers' licenses and other personal identifying information.

They then allegedly disguised themselves, sometimes using wigs, as they drove into the drive-thru teller lanes at banks using rental cars, where they used the victims' credit cards and checks to get cash from their accounts.

In most cases, authorities say, the suspects targeted women's cars after the victims left to go to a daycare, park or pool.

A federal grand jury returned a 76-count indictment on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft against the following people, who allegedly caused more than $1.3 million in losses to banks in the metroplex and several other states:

• Christian Dominique Scott, 28, of Dallas, Texas
