A fire on the roof of a Farmers Branch warehouse was quickly put out Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported around 3:30 a.m. when a passerby called 911 about the fire at Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration at 13915 Denton Drive.
Firefighters said they saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof and feared that the building was fully involved when they first arrived.
When fire crews began battling the blaze, however, they found just the roof on fire. They were able to contain the blaze fairly quickly with the help of some Carrollton firefighters.
The inside of the building suffered some smoke and water damage. Crews said some items inside should be able to be salvaged.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
