Family Issues Statement About Triple-Homicide

Family thanks public for thoughts, prayers Monday

The surviving family of three people brutally stabbed to death last week have issued a statement thanking the public for their support.

Through a media relations coordinator, the family of Donya Palmer said the following Monday morning.

The family of Donya Palmer and Ray and Mary Davis would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.

We will remember Donya for her laughter, forgiving heart and generous spirit.  She never met a stranger.  She was larger than life and brightened the lives of those around her.  She will never be forgotten.

We will remember Mary for her extraordinary kindness.  She loved her family with her entire being.  She was selfless and her good deeds were unending.  She will always be our Nana.

We will remember Ray for his welcoming smile and massive hugs.  He loved Mary with all of his heart.  His children and grandchildren meant the world to him.  He will always be Granddad, our hero.

The family is leaning on their faith during this difficult time and claim God’s promises from Psalm 22:27-28   All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

Palmer and her parents, Ray and Mary, were all three fatally stabbed inside the Davis' home last Thursday.

Dallas and Sachse police arrested Palmer's husband, William Palmer, and named him the sole suspect in the triple-homicide later that afternoon.

Palmer is being held on $1 million bond.
