An Ellis County jury on Monday sentenced a man to 75 years in prison after he was convicted of the sexual abuse of a young child.
Daniel Hinojosa, 36, of Ennis, was accused of molesting a girl and giving her marijuana in exchange for sexual favors from the time she was 12 years old until she was 16 years old, according to a press release from the district attorney's office.
During the trial, prosecutors also alleged Hinojosa sold the victim and another minor for sex.
The 75-year sentence does not include the possibility for parole.
