The board of the Ellis County Volunteer Fire Department is set to meet again Monday regarding the embattled district No. 6 fire station.
The chief and assistant chief of the Ellis County Volunteer Fire Department were arrested, along with several other members, after a reported sexual assault during an initiation of a firefighter at the station.
Last month, the board decided to keep the fire station open for at least 90 days.
Monday's meeting is expected to provide an update on the station's operations. Forreston's volunteer fire chief is leading the station during the 90-day period.
