Arlington police are trying to figure out how an 83-year-old woman died after her body was found in a drainage ditch.
Police said Elmi Dahabo was reported missing by family members who said she went out for a walk at about 9 a.m. Saturday.
Officers recovered Dahabo's body not far from a creek near Mayfield Road and Sherry Street at about 8 p.m.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet determined a cause of death.
At this point, investigators have not said if foul play is suspected.
