Earthquake Shakes North Texas On Saturday

On Saturday afternoon, residents of Parker County felt an earthquake, the strongest one in a string of tremblors since the first of November.

The US Geological Survey confirms a Magnitude 3.0 earthquake happened at 1:54 p.m. The epicenter is two miles south of Springtown and eight miles west, northwest of Azle.

There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

November 6 11:05 a.m.: Magnitude 2.7 near Springtown

November 5 9:32 p.m.:  Magnitude 2.6 east-southeast of Reno

November 1 4:57 p.m.: Magnitude 2.1 east-northeast of Richland Hills
