Driver Injured in Chase After Crashing into Church

One person was injured after crashing into a church during a police chase Friday morning.

The driver of a company pickup truck was being pursued by the Dallas County Sheriff's Department when he lost control of the vehicle and smashed into the Full Gospel Church on the 10900 block of Elam Road in Pleasant Grove.

The truck has the company logo for Tigert Co., Inc. on the side.  The Tigert Company is a boiler service and solutions company based in Lancaster.

The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was transported to Baylor Medical Center in an unknown condition. There are no reports of any other injuries in connection with the crash.
