Mohamed Bojang and his wife were expecting a baby. They just didn't know the baby was coming so soon.
On Thursday morning, Mohamed's wife started having labor pains. He set her down on the floor and called 911.
"He said his wife was having a baby. He wasn't too sure, he hadn't verified it yet, but she said the baby was coming," said Angela Sherrod, the dispatcher.
In her 20 years as a dispatcher, Sherrod had never fully coached a caller through childbirth.
But she did well on her first try. Sherrod told the nervous dad to look for the head, where to place his hands and to make sure the umbilical cord wasn't wrapped about the baby's neck.
"She was very, very -- she was fantastic," Bojang said. "She was very, very, very helpful."
"He ended up getting it done, so I was very proud of him," Sherrod said.

Khadija Bojang is resting at the hospital with her mom. Both are doing well and will be home in a few days.
