Demonstrators March With Casket, Hearse to Protest Jean Shooting

The demonstration ended at the Dallas Police Association office

Demonstrators marched on the streets of Dallas Monday night to protest the Sept. 6 shooting death of Botham Jean by off-duty Dallas police officer Amber Guyger.

The marchers walked by South Side Flats, the apartment complex that Jean and Guyger lived in and marched to the Dallas Police Association office, according to NBC 5's media partner The Dallas Morning News.

A hearse drove alongside the marchers, while protestors rolled a casket behind it. There were 60-70 people in the group of demonstrators.

One protestor said Dallas police blocked the entrances to major highways, so demonstrators could not block a freeway as they did Friday night.
