A man is dead after the tractor he was on rolled down an embankment in Waxahachie.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday near the northbound lanes of Interstate 35E and Cantrell Street.
A spokesperson for the Texas Department of Transportation said the victim was a contract worker for TXDoT, employed by Texas Tree and Landscape.
The tractor involved in the incident is similar to those used to pull lawn-mowing equipment, commonly seen mowing the medians and shoulders of highways.
