Dead Dogs Left Outside Dallas Animal Shelter in Protest

Fed up with what she sees as City Hall’s slow response to stray and dead dogs in southern Dallas, dog rescuer Marina Tarashevska decided to make a statement Monday by dropping off two dead canines on the sidewalk in front of the city’s animal shelter.

“I just got so infuriated that there were dead dogs lying all over the place and that nobody is making an attempt to pick them up,” said Tarashevska, an animal advocate who runs the Dallas DogRRR rescue. “I decided to give Dallas Animal Services a hand and bring the dogs to them to let them know…they’re not doing their jobs.”
