The Dallas Zoo is welcoming dozens of new additions, and Texas Christian University fans might be especially interested.
A batch of 39 Texas horned lizards recently hatched, the zoo announced Thursday on Facebook.
This was a first for the Dallas Zoo, which said the reptiles, also known as "horny toads," are a threatened species no longer found in East and Central Texas.
The babies, for now, are only about the size of a penny.
