Dallas Woman Kidnapped Then Released

Police search for two suspects

Police are looking for two suspects they believe kidnapped a woman in North Dallas.

It happened at 12:35 a.m. Sunday. Police said the woman was getting out of her car in the 9000 block of Vantage Point Drive when two suspects forced her back into her car at gunpoint.  Police said the suspects drove her to a bank ATM on Greenville Avenue and Forest Lane to get money from her account.

Then she was driven to the 1400 block of S. Fitzhugh where she was dropped off. She went to a nearby house and called police.

Carlos Jimenez found the woman while she waited for police. "I went outside to take my dog out and I noticed her... she yelled at me across the street," Jimenez said. "While we were waiting, I saw she looked worried, scared, so I took her inside my house, to calm her down."

The victim's stolen car turned up in the 1200 block of Caldwell.

The search for the male suspects continue. Police have not released a description to pass along to the public.

"I was actually shocked to know someone had been robbed, taken to ATMs, taken their money, it was crazy," Jimenez said.
