Five dogs attack woman on walking trail, neighbors say

A Dallas woman is recovering Monday morning after she was attacked by five pit bulls Sunday.

The attack happened as the woman walked along a trail on the 2300-block of Greer Street at about 10:30 a.m.

A neighbor of the victim told NBC 5 that the woman spotted the dogs on the trail and as they approached she became scared. She then ran and the dogs attacked.

The woman was transported to Baylor where she was treated for bites to her forehead, right eye and all her limbs. Her current condition is not yet known.

The case has been referred to Dallas Animal Services, DallasNews.com reports.
