Dallas Warrant Roundup Starts Saturday

Dallas law enforcement officers will comb the city Saturday looking for people with outstanding City of Dallas warrants.

The Dallas City Marshal's Office and the Dallas Police Department will work together to arrest people with unpaid traffic and non-traffic citations with warrants in Dallas Municipal Court.

Under the Scofflaw Program, anyone who hasn't paid their Dallas warrants will be denied vehicle registration with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and possibly be denied renewal of their driver's license.

You can avoid arrest by taking care of outstanding citations at 2014 Main St. between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Payments are accepted at the Dallas Marshal's Office / City Detention Center located at 1600 Chestnut which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
