Dallas police need the public's help finding a driver who kit and killed a man Sunday night.
It happened in the 10,000 block of Garland Road at around 11 p.m. Sunday.
Police told NBC 5 a man visiting Dallas for Christmas found 68-year-old Jerry McAnally of Mesquite dead in the street. He blocked traffic and called 911.
Police believe McAnally tried to cross the street when a vehicle traveling northeast on Garland Road hit him then took off.
Investigators don't have a description of the vehicle, but they urge anyone in that area at the time of the incident to call police.
