A Dallas Police Officer showed off his skills on Saturday when challenged to a friendly foot race.
The Dallas Police Department tweeted out this video showing the officer and a man competing in a foot race down the street.
The man and the officer were talking and the man mentioned that he didn't think the officer looked fast enough to catch him, especially with at least 20 pounds of police uniform gear on his body.
The officer accepted the challenge and the two lined up.
You can see in the video that the officer was much quicker than the man expected. The officer even had time to look back several times to see where his challenger was.
The department went on to say that the challenger was "obviously mistaken."
