Dallas Police Officer Arrested, Accused of Burglary

Officer's arrest warrant mentions another officer charged with stalking, burglarly of estranged wife's home

A Dallas police officer surrendered to the Denton County Sheriff's Department Saturday, accused alongside a veteran sergeant in the burglary of his estranged wife's home.

Officer Angelle Ponseti faces burglary of a habitation charges for an incident that took place in October 2016.

The arrest warrant for Ponseti also mentioned Dallas Police Sgt. Gregory Epley, who was charged with stalking and burglary of a habitation before surrendering to the Denton County Sheriff's Department on April 19.

Ponseti, a three-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department, is assigned to the Northeast Patrol Division. Ponseti is now on administrative leave pending an investigation by the department.
