Just minutes after putting out an alert for a missing 8-year-old boy, Dallas police report that the child has been found "safe and unharmed."
Earlier, officers said Juelle Darden was taken by non-custodial parent from a residence in the 1900 block of McBroom Street in Dallas around 1:05 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said Darden was taken by his mother 27-year-old Contessa Jefferson, who does not have custody.
She and another woman Angela Jacobs left the area in a vehicle with a 3-year-old girl also on board.
At no point was an Amber Alert issued for Darden.
