Dallas Police Investigating Four Reported Assaults in Uptown Area

    Dallas Police Investigating Four Reported Assaults in Uptown Area

    Dallas police say in the past 14 months, four women have reported being assaulted as they walked home in the Uptown area of Dallas.

    Each of the cases occurred early on Sundays between 12:45 and 2:30 a.m., as the women walked alone and were grabbed and assaulted, police said.

    The first reported assault occurred Oct. 2, 2016, on the 3200 block of Fairmount Street; the second occurred Dec. 4, 2016, on the 3000 block of Bookhout Street; the third occurred July 23 on the 2800 block of Bookhout Street; the most recent occurred Dec. 3 on the 2800 block of Cole Avenue.

    Police aren't sure if the attacks are related and don't have detailed suspect descriptions.
