Dallas Police: 2 Shot, 1 Arrested in Robbery

Police said two men were shot and one person is in custody after a robbery attempt at a Dallas apartment complex overnight.

Dallas police said two people broke into a home and shot the men, ages 24 and 20, at the Bella Casa apartments in the 2900 block of Peavy Road after 10 p.m. Monday. Police said the incident started as a robbery, but did not say what was stolen.

The 20-year-old victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. Authorities said he might not survive.

Police said the 24-year-old victim is stable.

Detectives arrested Marquis Murphy, 21, who is now charged with four counts of aggravated robbery. A second suspect remains on the run, but a description has not been released.
