Dallas Officer's Badge, Uniform Stolen in Burglary

There are renewed fears of a person impersonating a police officer after another Dallas officer is victimized.

Someone broke into a Dallas officer's home over the weekend and stole much of the officer's gear, including a badge, radio, uniform and ammunition.

According to the police report, several other items were also stolen:

Investigators said they have no leads in the burglary.

Last fall, the department was victimized several times, including one burglary of an unmarked SWAT vehicle. In that case, police said the thief broke into the car and made off with weapons, ammunition, police uniforms, badges and body armor.
