A car crash knocked out power to a Dallas neighborhood overnight, according to police.
Authorities said they responded to a call about a man passed out in a parked car. The man woke up when first responders arrived and tried to drive away.
Police said the man hit several parked cars and an electric pole before crashing into a yard near the intersection of Shelley Boulevard and Keats Drive.
The neighborhood lost power for several hours during the crash, police said. Power was restored just before 5 a.m.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital. His condition is not yet known.
