Dallas firefighters rescued a woman and her children who were trapped in a car in floodwaters Friday morning, according to authorities.[[303901871,C]]
According to Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans, the woman and her two children were in the car in water above the vehicle's tires near Lake June and North Prairie Creek roads at 9:47 a.m.
Firefighters rescued everyone from the car. No injuries were reported.
Evans said the firefighters helped walk the woman and children safely across the road and then drove their car out of the water to safety.[[303902041,C]]
