The Dallas Festival of Ideas will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 28 after a cancellation due to inclement weather.
The festival headquarters in the lobby of the Winspear Opera House will have registration, free interactive stations and lunch concessions.
The festival will consist of free family fun throughout the day with performers on the IDEAS Stage, artists, interactive booths and action stations.
There were also be several panels taking place in the Dallas City Performance Hall, Crow Collection of Asian Art, Winspear Opera House, Dallas Museum of Art and Booker T. Washington High School.
The festival will begin with opening remarks by Mayor Mike Rawlings.
VIP Lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Winspear Opera House.
At 12 p.m. the doors will open for Signature Event: "The Future Starts Here" at the Dallas City Performance Hall. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
