Dallas Cowboys Cornerback Orlando Scandrick Expects To Be Ready For Training Camp

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick is progressing nicely in his rehab.  Scandrick missed last season when he tore the MCL and ACL in his right knee at training camp in Oxnard, California. The injury was a major setback to Scandrick and the Dallas Cowboys defense, some argue that the 29 year old was having the best camp of any player for the Cowboys.

The former 5th round pick says he feels great and is looking forward to training camp but says he is not going to rush back. The Boise State alum says he doesn't want to suffer any setbacks and wants to be ready to contribute once he steps on the field.

Patience will be Scandrick toughest challenge because he's a competitor and wants to be on the field with the rest of his teammates, but his body must adjust to the grind that he will go through to get back into playing shape.

Scandrick is in his 9th season with the Cowboys and has seven career interceptions.
