Authorities said they arrested a wrong-way driver who led them on a chase in Pleasant Grove overnight Thursday.
An officer spotted 46-year-old Carolyn Laverne Butler driving the wrong way on U.S. Highway 175. and attempted to pull her over. Butler did not immediately do so and led Dallas County deputies on a brief chase.
Police said they arrested Butler after she stopped on U.S. 175 near Haymarket Road and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
Authorities said Butler did not hit any other vehicles.
