KENNEDALE MAN ARRESTED FOR ROLE IN DEADLY ARSON
A Fort Worth-area man has been arrested at the California-Mexico border in the arson fire that killed his pregnant wife, 6-year-old daughter and father-in-law. Kennedale Police Chief Tommy Williams says Johnny Hummel is in custody in San Ysidro, Calif., near San Diego, and awaits extradition to Texas after his Sunday arrest. Williams tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Hummel's held on an arson warrant based on evidence uncovered over the weekend. 57-year-old Eddie Bedford, his pregnant daughter and Hummel's wife, Joy Hummel, and 6-year-old Jody Hummel. The three were discovered early Friday after a fire swept through Bedford's house in Kennedale, 10 miles southeast of Fort Worth. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner said Monday that 34-year-old Joy Hummel died of stab wounds. During an interview with the detectives, Mr. Hummel gave a statement detailing his involvement in the deaths of his family members and the fire according to Kennedale police.

PAINTBALL SHOOTINGS ENDS IN A SHOOTING
Dallas police are searching for the person who shot an 18-year-old man in the hand. It happened in the 2900 block of Michigan Avenue. Police said the teenager and a friend were shooting a paintball gun at cars and homes in Oak Cliff on Tuesday night. One of their targets chased them and fired a real gun at them. 911 CALL: HUBBY WON'T EAT DINNER
Prosecutors in Kerrville will review the case of a woman accused of calling 911 to complain that her husband refused to eat his dinner. Police say the woman has called 911 about 30 times over six months for non-emergency reasons. Read more on NBCDFW.com.
