A new driver's license office opens Friday in northwest Tarrant County.
The new office is in Lake Worth, just off northwest Loop 820 at 5816 Azle Avenue, and boasts "extensive upgrades, including additional square footage, increased capacity and new technology to improve efficiency and customer service."
The Texas Department of Public Safety will host a ribbon-cutting cermony to mark the occasion at 10 a.m. Speakers at the ceremony are expected to include DPS Assistant Director Joe Peters and a local official.
The office is expected to open to the public at noon.
