DMA Attempts Largest Group of People Dressed as Frida Kahlo

The Dallas Museum of Art tried to set a Guinness World Record on Thursday for the largest group of people dressed as Frida Kahlo in one place.

"Frida Fest" celebrated the famous artist's 110th birthday.

To qualify, participants had to sport a unibrow — drawn with a marker was OK — as well as have at least three artificial flowers in their hair, wear a red or pink shawl and a flower-printed dress that goes past the knees.

Hundreds of people showed up, and there is no official word yet on whether they set the record.

Some of Kahlo's most well-known work is currently on display in the DMA's special exhibit: "México 1900–1950: Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, José Clemente Orozco, and the Avant-Garde."
