There was a celebrity book signing at Half Price Books in Dallas Sunday, but this definitely wasn't your typical book signing.
That's because the "author" is a 5-year-old miniature dachshund named Crusoe, also known as "Crusoe - The Celebrity Dachshund."
Nearly 300 Crusoe fans, both human and canine, lined up to meet Crusoe and get his "pawtograph" for his book, "Adventures of the Wiener Dog Extraordinaire - Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund."
And since everything is bigger in Texas, the book signing was Crusoe's best turnout yet. Fans from all over Texas, as well as Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, were there.
Crusoe's Humble Beginnings
After writing a very popular blog and creating videos of his adventures for the last few years, Crusoe's parents wrote his book that made its debut on Oct. 27.

Shortly after the book came out, the famous pup launched an international book tour that started in New York City and will end later this month in Ottawa, Canada.
